Description
Eyes closed,
body still,
I sent my thoughts on a journey
beyond time
beyond space
to a sacred place of birthing.
Focussed mind,
open heart,
In the dark embrace of the void I heard
a humming of strings
and singing quarks,
bringing my thoughts back to me
lovingly in form.

I borrow Rosys words, Calming yet energetic, because they fit so well. Love the colors and shapes! FV

Eyes open, looking at this painting, focusing on that light cerulean blue spot.......am I floating beyond space to an unknown dimension...just focus on that upper center! Paradoxically, the eyes are open but drawn into a hypnotic trans, while focusing on that upper center spot.......... Great abstract Rory.
Rory Siegel replied:
I really love your comment Walter and am happy to hear that this work helps bring about that wondrous state of consciousness. The trance state is certainly a doorway to many wonders! Thank you!

Marlene Burns

Rory Siegel replied:
Thank you so much Christine! (I wish they would let you...guffaw!) I see you are a Washingtonian and you look really familiar to me...have we met? I really enjoyed visiting your galleries this morning. I think you must have inherited a lot of your Grandfather's talent!!!

This is beautiful Rory; I love the color choices (calming yet energizing) and the feeling of being on the bottom of the ocean...the soft ocean current caressing me as I look upward to the little bit of sunlight piercing the cool blue water, like a beacon in the night - so lovely and so enjoyable! Joyce
Rory Siegel replied:
Wow! Thank you so much Joyce for the wonderful description....I love it! Your comments are much appreciated!

Carl Rolfe
I'm not exactly sure why, but I love this one vf
Rory Siegel replied:
I don't require a reason Carl...I am just happy that you like it! I am like that too in that sometimes I just have a purely visceral reaction to an image....and don't understand why until I contemplate...or maybe never understand why.
