Description
I go to nature to be soothed and healed, and to have my senses put in order.
John Burroughs
The Kingdom of Heaven is not a place, but a state of mind.
John Burroughs
Magic and the beautiful mystery of Nature and Life itself is always with us...if only we allow ourselves to experience it.
I have walked this path hundreds of times, seen these elegant entities day after day...and yet, so many times I walked right past them without taking notice. Then one magical evening there was a perfect moment, when the light shifted and I paused breathless in wonderment, A slight breeze caressed these delicate fronds just as it sweetly pushed a few stray curls across my cheek. The setting sun lovingly kissed us both goodnight with it's last golden rays of light.
Taken March 3, 2013 on my walk back home. It is this sense of connection, the awareness of incredible love that exists in every rock, every plant and animal...indeed, in each and every one of us, THAT is what we must allow ourselves to be aware of, and stay aware of. We must be the guardians and protectors of this miraculous earth that is our home, and understand that there is no separation between us and it.
