FINDING PEACE
Yesterday on my way home from the last Lacey Community Market, I was tired, worried about the declining health of a loved one, and way too many other things. Distracted, I took a "wrong turn" and ended up going home by a different route, only to find once again, that what at first seemed a mistake, was really the elegant and purposeful plan of a loving Universe, guiding me to where I needed to be, what I needed to see, helping me to find again that place of peace that is always waiting for us.
More and more, I am coming to see and to trust, that despite the illusions of separateness and polarity, there is an underlying unity, a consciousness of love and connection, that permeates all that is. It only takes a single moment for us to open ourselves to that frequency and be graced with peace and love...regardless of the challenges we all encounter in our day to day lives.

Rory,we seem to write the same things in different words! I'm enjoying the after- effect of reading your description and looking across this field of grass that appears to be dancing with a misty light. "Only a field" some would say! In fact it's what one of our MP's said recently while justifying building on preserved "greenbelt" land. But it's not only a field,it's a field of peace. (and numerous little inhabitants too!) Lovely image and story! v/f

I feel the same Jane...and have learned that is the essence of how we as Observers create our reality on multitudinous levels. To see with the eyes of one who feels a profound communion with the natural world...that is a gift...and one that I endeavor to share with others. The world of the tiny is fascinating both in terms of the animal kingdom and the quantum!

It was quiet Colleen...and the light was spectacular and ethereal. I am so glad that what I felt in those moments comes across in the photo. Thank you so much for your wonderful comments!

In this case the wrong turn was the right turn. Very nice atmosphere where simplicity is more than simple.
Rory Siegel replied:
Thank you very much Bonnie...it helps to try and remember that there is a greater purpose for what we often see as our mistakes. I like how you worded your comment...and indeed within what appears to be the simplest of landscapes is a magnificent world of the miraculous systems of nature.
