Artist's Description
She visits my mother, whom I brought home on hospice early this year, nearly every weekend, always bringing these gorgeous gifts of love from her cherished garden. She is my brother's ex-girlfriend from many, many years ago during their college days, yet she visits more than anyone else. Her kindness, her company, and her beautiful flowers bring my mother and I great joy during a very difficult time.
I am inspired and uplifted by these beautiful blooms and cannot resist trying to capture their beauty so that long after they fade away, they will be remembered....just as these precious days with my mother will be with me always.
