Description
It's all too easy to become so caught up in our day to day lives, both our challenges and our joys, that we forget to stay open to what is unfamiliar to us....and to allow ourselves to be explorers of the Unknown. Taking those unfamiliar turns, trusting our knowingness and going down a new road....often there are lovely surprises just waiting for us there in the mist! And perhaps the greatest adventure, the greatest and most magical of mysteries, is actually what we find when we simply close our eyes and wander deep into the mists of our own amazing beingness.
This photograph is in dedication to my Master Teacher, Ramtha, JZ Knight his channel, and the Ramtha School of Enlightenment. Thank you for teaching me that God truly does live within all of us, that all potentials DO exist in the Mind of God, and that to explore and express those potentials in this life is the greatest possible adventure.

So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more dangerous to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. The very basic core of a mans living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

In addition to the banner, I am adding this more permanent recognition of its FEATURE on the homepage of A TREE OR TREES IN BLACK AND WHITE. I try mightily to feature only images that would be at home in a juried competition. No doubt that this image fits that bill. CONGRATULATIONS! And consider adding your image to DISCUSSIONS "Please post your featured photograph here" for greater, long-lasting visibility.

Thank you so much for your really wonderful comment and compliment! That means a lot to me. This is one of my favorite photos too. More of recent work is actually on lens culture, flicker, and Facebook as I've sadly not kept up very well here. Hope all is well with you!

Thank you very much I'ina! This is another image that seems familiar to many, many people for some reason. At the Farmer's Market, nearly everyone that sees it tells me..."oh, this looks just like the road I used to live on." I love that....a Universal image, lol!
