PLEASE...Don't Make Me!
Poor little baby was very afraid to venture forth on a walk among the crowds in Central Park. When I ran into the Pumpkin Festival hordes, I knew just how he felt! I saw this little sweetheart on my recent trip to NYC for the Project Imagination Film Festival Premiere.
I tried to comfort him, but he was not going to budge. I wanted very much to suggest to his owners to scoop him up and carry him during the rest of their time in Central Park. He was so cute, that despite his fearfulness, I just had to get a photo of him.
I believe this is a Silky Terrier or perhaps a mix with a Yorkshire Terrier. His tenacious grip on the cement base of a sculpture (I believe it was a statue of William Shakespeare), while surrounded by a scattering of Fall leaves caught my eye...while his plight wrung my heart.

Adorable, Rory. Love that you let the little guy hide in the back. Perfect. f/l

Thank you, but I cannot take any credit and if you read the description you can see that I wished his owners had not forced him out walking at such a young age (not yet fully vaccinated) and among such a huge crowd. He was adorable, but very frightened.

I sort of hinted to them that maybe they should....since there were huge throngs of people in the park and this little one was obviously terrified. Thank you for all of your lovely comments Laurie and for taking the time to look at my work....it's much appreciated and I'm happy to meet you!
