That was the coolest apartment too, with built-in glass-fronted cabinets on one side of the livingroom that had an arched, mirrored area above them and spiral designed columns on either side. It was old, very inexpensive, and there were times one had to suddenly "drop and cover" because of drive by shootings in the area!!!

This is a Classic, Rory! Love the musically inclined chair in the background, too!

What a lovely compliment Barbara...thank you! I have not done a lot of self-portraits, but I do like this one. Mostly they were in self-defense since I don't photograph well in most cases, lol!

Your beautiful work is so expressive and evocative, Rory, and your self-portraits really strike a chord! Like all good friends, our film and digital cameras came to appreciate us for who we are. :) l/f
