Description

Surveying the yard, planning his strategy, he sees all from his vantage point on the garage roof. He's been trying to find a way into the birdfeeder, but hasn't quite made it all the way down to the seed yet. We put out stale whole wheat rolls however which he quickly snatches up and stashes high up in the trees for a late evening snack!

I've found these adorable little ones to be very "chatty," often carrying on a rather long conversation with me, particularly about keeping my dog Sunny away from their rolls, lol! The way they leap from branch to branch, or run along the phone wires is a delight to watch.

Colleen you are so kind and your comments mean a lot to me. This little one has tried hanging upsidedown from the roof gutter above the feeder, but this particular feeder has a largish top on it....so he is having a challenge. Hopefully the peanuts I just bought will make him happy, lol! And yes, this little guy and all the birds (I have several feeders out here at my mom's) are a daily reminder of the sweetness of life in the midst of facing the decline and imminent passing of a loved one.
