Thank you so much AnnaJo. This is one that just created itself....and surprised even me. I have another piece on here called "Think Of Things To Come" that manifested in a similar way...straight from the depths of my consciousness without any planning or forethought. That one kept me awake for three days and nights before I felt it looked like the vision that inspired it.

What a wonderfully expressive and provocative work of art. It can be interpreted in a few different ways. I really like it very much, Rory. f/v

Kim, your comments are the greatest gift an artist can receive...other than the joy the act of creating itself brings. Your words mean more to me than you might think....for to know that any kind of healing or insight comes to others from my work makes me very, very happy. This work did come from deep within my being...so much so that it's meaning and impact are still unfolding in my life via what it reflects about the choices I have made...and how I have changed. I deeply desire to see such healing for all in our world that still labor under the illusion of separation...whether that separation is through politics, religion, or for any other reason.
MarySue Price

Art like this makes one think. I've read all the comments and spent a bit of time looking into the one blind and one seeing eye, the empty eyes of the skull, and the turned, perhaps closed eye of the fellow beneath. I asked myself if death was the Great Lie or is life as we perceive it here on earth. Are we truly corporeal entities? Perception is reality; do we merely perceive ourselves as corporeal but are, in truth, something other? Or do we believe we are something other and are merely of the earth? I think you are right to keep your meaning to yourself - it makes us stretch:>) V/F
Rory Siegel replied:
Carol, I love hearing your thought process on this...very meaningful questions! There are many lies in this reality...or maybe I should say "illusions"....and freeing ourselves of those is I believe, the way to our enlightenment. Thank you!!!

Very well done piece of art. It reminds me of the Fates. It pulls me in and unsettles me in my fluffy little world. Maybe it's me you've drawn? Maybe it's everyone. Everyone wears a mask at some point or another. Some have gorilla glued theirs on.
Rory Siegel replied:
Thank you so much Jessica for your thoughtful comments! Nice to meet you!
Fatima Tomaeva-Gabellini
