Artist's Description
"There are two means of refuge from the miseries of life: music and cats."
Albert Schweitzer
I love cats because I enjoy my home; and little by little, they become its visible soul.
Jean Cocteau
"A cat has absolute emotional honesty: human beings, for one reason or another, may hide their feelings, but a cat does not."
Ernest Hemingway
Cat sitting = free models.....guffaw! This is one of my two new friends...a lap lover to be sure. I found her a few days ago sitting on a shelf in front of a window with the light streaming in from behind her. Of course I could not resist...those winsome features demanded that her visage be recorded for all time. She's a dear little kitty girl...pure love (and appetite) like so many kitties are, lol!

This was a good friend of mine's kitty who died....and then I had to put Annie, my beloved furry friend, to sleep in July. It was a tough time for both of us so we did a combined memorial for them in my back yard! Better now, but sure do miss our girls. Thanks so much Sue!

Rory, can sympathize with your loss of this sweet kitty. I know you miss her every day. This is an adorable picture, with the wink. Rory, I'm glad you posted this with the quotations and your other insightful words with this in the description. This is lovely as well as your other animal images. LF
