"There are two means of refuge from the miseries of life: music and cats."

I love cats because I enjoy my home; and little by little, they become its visible soul.
Jean Cocteau
"A cat has absolute emotional honesty: human beings, for one reason or another, may hide their feelings, but a cat does not."
Ernest Hemingway
Cat sitting = free models.....guffaw!
This is the second of my two new friends. She is missing her mom pretty badly...and finds me only a tolerable substitute as yet...a meager bringer of food, lol. I love her all the same and completely empathize with her feelings. I think we too easily underestimate the level of intelligence and attachment these creatures develop for their human companions. Thank you so much for your kind comments Karen! I'd have more critters if I could, but for now am very thankful to at least get to photograph them!

I love your take on this fabulous feline. I also love all your comments about cats. My husband and I are 'cat people'. Right now we have 4 indoors and have lost many others due to disease and/or old age. They are ALL unique individuals with their own personalities. I miss them all but some are more special and I cannot talk about them without tears flowing. f/v

She does look a little bit like Monty! Maybe we should try setting them up on Skype to have an internet date? Yes, her mama is home safe and the kitties are sooooo happy to see her! Thank you so much Jolanta!
