I've been looking for awhile for a place to pull over on one of the Portland bridges so I could shoot some photos from that higher vantage point, but so far had not found one. However, yesterday, while caught in a bit of rush traffic, I opened my driver's side window, held my camera up with my right hand while steering with my left, and clicked the shutter without looking through the viewfinder or even at the LCD. I kept my eyes on the road, but thankfully got a few decent shots. I do not recommend this as a regular practice!
In this photo you can see in the distance the Steel Bridge, Morrison Bridge, and the Hawthorne Bridge. To the left is the KOIN Tower building. Portland is a very beautiful city.
