I found these lovely entities along the path of the Tryon Creek Wilderness area a couple of weeks ago during a walk with a friend. They seemed to me like two beautiful beings, wrapped in elegant green velvet garments, that had been dancing together for centuries, Their graceful branches reminded me of the connections within our own miraculous human brains, reaching into the heavens, as our own evolving consciousness extends ever deeper into the mysteries of Eternity.
This is with gratitude for Laurie....prying me out of the house on this gorgeous day and helping me to take better care of myself. And for Alan Withington...who loves trees with a passion equal to my own.
